The Friends of Up Yonda Farm, Inc. is a volunteer organization committed to raising funds to supplement programming at Up Yonda Farm Environmental Education Center in Bolton Landing, New York. We are a tax exempt, certified not for profit corporation with 501c3 status.

Purchased 6 benches to be used during programs, supplementing a gift from Norowal Marina
Purchased panels and stands for Story Walk, an interactive reading trail
Helped to cover landscaping and gardening needs; including plants and supplies
Paid for an evaluation of the Farm’s composting restroom facilities
Purchased HP DesignJet T630 Large Format Wireless Plotter Printer
Sponsor wreath making workshops by purchasing all necessary materials

Purchased picnic table for the vista area
Sponsored wreath making workshops by purchasing all necessary materials
Paid for the modernization of the Star Lab Planetarium
Supplied free ice cream sundaes at the 25th Anniversary Celebration
Provided new student microscopes

Purchased new markers for hiking trails
Replaced the Interpretive Panel at the vista area

Arranged for new benches to be built for the vista area
Purchased an Observation Bee Hive for the museum
Leased permanent Viewing Scope for the vista area
Purchased I Pad Pro and other equipment for use in creating virtual classroom lessons

Purchased a worm composter
Provided gifts for campfire program attendees
Purchased multiple pairs of children’s binoculars and magnifying glasses

Sponsor the Pumpkin House at Trunk or Treat by providing pumpkins and decorations 

Every Summer
The Friends present “Lunch with the Chef” at the Sagamore Resort. Proceeds from this event are used to benefit Up Yonda Farm Environmental Educational Center.
