The Friends are actively involved in securing funding to create new exhibits at Up Yonda Farm. Would you like to donate and help with our future projects? Check out our ideas and payment options below.

Solar Power

A solar project is being considered to help Up Yonda Farm defray electrical costs. The Friends and Up Yonda staff will also sponsor programs to help educate the public about the benefits of solar energy.

Observation Bee Hives

The Friends hope to fund a new, improved, beehive demonstration area at Up Yonda to be used in conjunction with educational programs at the Farm.

Gardening for Butterflies

A Monarch Waystation is being planned to contribute to Monarch Butterfly conservation.

Viewing Scope

A sightseeing scope and comfortable chairs are envisioned for the summit.

Interpretive Panel

The Friends hope to commission a new interpretive panel to explain the area being viewed at the summit.

Musical Instruments

Durable, sustainable outdoor musical instruments are planned to enhance Up Yonda’s sensory garden.
